Google free proxy!

December 26th, 2005 by George Burnett

Ever been stuck behind a pesky proxy that blocks your favorite sites while at work or school or wherever? Well due to this super easy and smart hack you won’t have to worry about that anymore. The concept behind this hack is that you use the Google language translation web application to translate the site(s) in question from English to English. The result is a proxy free connection direct to your favorite sites.

Now that is a very useful hack!

Wow how dumb is this comment. I mean really you think companies only block urls! lol they block IP, Keywords, DNS names etc. You are not very intelligent. How about you check yourself before posting garbage like this.

Actually .. The google.com domain name is the only URL / DNS name your corporate router sees as the actual site is being routed between Google’s routers and the site being accessed. The result is then presented to your browser as a Google site (translator). That is the beauty of this hack.
