Fast OS Switching on MacBook With Parallels

This is a demo of a brand new Apple MacBook (black) with 2GB of RAM running Virtual Machine from Parallels (beta 6) and Virtue desktop emulator.

In the video the user switches from Mac OS X to Windows XP (Media Center themed) to Ubuntu using the native Mac OS X “Fast User Switching” mechanism. This is very cool!

Now for the downside to all of this:

You cannot boot directly into Windows or Ubuntu (or any other OS you install)
The left side of the MacBook will run extremely HOT
Due to the extreme heat caused by running 3 OS’s in parallel the MacBook is known to freeze and reboot!

Remember, the MacBook already runs hot so this isn’t really a viable solution to running multiple OS’s at the same time though it is very very cool none the less.
