Rob from the always-entertaining-but-hard-to-describe science/prank/DIY/investigative journalism site Cockeyed.com had the brilliant idea of making an Amazon Kindling– a wireless wooden e-book (which uses no electricity….), and we were pleased to help out. DIY Bottle Cap Tripod

It seems the do-it-yourself bottle cap tripod is the talk of the internet today. Jake Ludington of Jake Ludington’s MediaBlab, has created a step-by-step instruction set for creating a digital camera tripod from a Pepsi bottle. He got the idea from the Japanese retail version of the same product.

Mac Mini Carputer + iTrip

The owner of this Mazda Protege sedan decided that he needed to get some MP3 playback in their vehicle, stat! Instead of purchasing your run-of-the-mill MP3 playing headunit they decided to take their Mac Mini and mod an iTrip FM transmitter directly to the Mini.
